NKU Students to Work With UpTech Startups Thanks to Board Member's Gift
UpTech board member Frank Caccamo is personally funding an internship collaboration between UpTech and Northern Kentucky University’s College of Informatics.
Caccamo has been involved with both UpTech and NKU’s College of Informatics since the two organizations were founded. He served as Founding Chairman of the Dean's Advisory Board of the College of Informatics, as well as a member of the UpTech Board of Directors since 2014.
“Through thick and thin, good and bad, ups and downs, Frank’s commitment to both of these institutions is unwavering and just remarkable. He has given of himself in terms of time and talent, and now he has followed with his treasure.” said Tom Prewitt, UpTech Board Chair.
Caccamo’s monetary gift will allow students from Northern Kentucky University’s College of Informatics to work with UpTech startups. These data analytics students will be working along side UpTech’s Fifth cohort to further their education and real-world experience.
